What is Solstar 2001?

Chapter 9: Solstar 2001 and Solstar-DOS

Solstar 2001 is the successor of Solstar-DOS. It no longer runs as a DOS program, but requires Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0 or Windows 2000.
Solstar 2001 offers these advantages:

  • Easy to use
  1. Clearly arranged menus. No running through menu-screens.
  2. "Click and Select" replaces typing in many places.
  3. Use "Drag and Drop" for editing a schedule.
  • Many reports
Select from the large number of customized reports.
  • Import/Export
You can easily exchange data between Solstar 2001 and Solstar-DOS.
  • Unlimited number of school years
Solstar 2001 allows an unlimited number of school years. (I.e. for use as history.)
  • User management
Solstar 2001 allows you to setup various rights and passwords for different users.
  • Function keys
In addition to its menus Solstar 2001 also supports many of the functions keys used with Solstar-DOS.
  • Network capabilities
Solstar 2001 runs in a network environment. It also allows up to 5 users at a time to access the program.
